SeP welcomes new volunteer from Germany
Britta Potthoff is her name. She arrived in Cameroon on February 11 2019 and will work at Service for Peace for one year. She is a beneficiary of the weltwarts/international-volunteer service program, a program that deals with the North –South placement of volunteers initiated by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
In her motivations, she has expressed the desire to work in the environmental sector. Her voluntary service at the Ecumenical Service for Peace will therefore be environment oriented. ‘…As a volunteer, I would like to give the nature the chance to recover and try to prevent new damage…’ she wrote in the description of her community project. However, Britta says to be very adaptable to circumstances and can adapt to different types of work. She is a bachelor’s degree holder in Real Estate Economics obtained from the University of Regensburg, Germany.
The Ecumenical Service for Peace through its President welcomes you Britta. We wish you a nice stay within our premises at SeP and in our beautiful country, Cameroon.
